What is Wild Acres?

Wild Acres is a celebration of thoughtfully procured ales and lagers from some of the very best breweries in the country, right here in the Warwick, New York. Spend the afternoon tasting through incredible beer with the people who made it while you enjoy live music, great food, and one of the most beautiful properties in the Hudson Valley.

Purchase your ticket and enjoy unlimited tastings from more than 40 breweries and 80 brewers pouring throughout the afternoon. Explore limited edition beer releases, live music, local food, artisan vendors, and festival merchandise, all set against the backdrop of the Warwick Valley.

We offer three ticket options to choose from. Both General Admission and VIP‍ tickets include unlimited tastings and a limited edition Wild Acres festival glass. VIP also includes one hour of early entry, a meet and greet with participating brewers, and an exclusive 750ml bottle brewed just for VIP attendees. Designated Driver tickets include admission to the festival grounds so you can enjoy the music, food, vendors, and spend the day with friends.

Where is Wild Acres

Wild Acres lives at The Drowned Lands Brewery in Warwick, NY, about an hour northwest of New York City in the heart of the Hudson Valley. The festival takes place on our property at 251 State School Road, set on 700 acres of rolling farmland with Wawayanda Creek along the tree line and the Appalachian Mountains as the backdrop. Parking is free and on site.

Make a weekend out of it, Warwick is one of the best small towns in the Hudson Valley with plenty to do before and after the festival. Hike the Appalachian Trail at Stairway to Heaven, grab ice cream at Bellvale Farms Creamery on top of Mount Peter, taste whiskey at Black Dirt Distillery, float down the river with local tubing outfitters, explore over 40 miles of trails at Wawayanda State Park, or spend the afternoon walking the village and hitting the local shops and restaurants. There are wineries, cideries, farm stands, and some of the best scenery in the state all within a few minutes of the brewery.

FAQ's

  • No. Wild Acres is a 21+ event. Anyone under 21, including infants and young children, will not be permitted to attend. Valid ID is required at the door.

  • Well behaved, leashed dogs are welcome on the festival grounds. Dogs are not permitted inside the taproom. Service animals only indoors.

  • Yes. Parking is free at the Drowned Lands Brewery and we will have parking attendants on site to help direct traffic.

  • Yes. Our summer kitchen menu and grill menu will both be running throughout the festival. Our kitchen is farm to table with locally sourced ingredients, scratch made dressings, and wood fired sourdough pizza. We offer vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options as well.

  • No. Outside food and beverages are not permitted.

  • Wild Acres is a rain or shine event. In the case of dangerous weather conditions such as severe thunderstorms or hurricanes, the rain date is Sunday, August 16th.

  • All sales are final. Ticket purchases are non refundable.

  • VIP admission begins at 12 PM. General Admission opens at 1 PM. The festival runs until 5 PM for all ticket holders.

  • This is an outdoor event so dress comfortably and plan for sun. Sunscreen and sunglasses are a good idea. We have both shaded and sunny areas, indoor and outdoor seating, and plenty of room to spread out. Feel free to bring a blanket or chairs if you want to claim a spot on the lawn.
