THE LAND & BREWERY

THE DROWNED LANDS BREWERY IS LOCATED IN THE EPICENTER OF THE “BLACK DIRT REGION” - WARWICK, NY. THE REGION TAKES ITS NAME FROM THE UNUSUALLY DARK HUE OF ITS EXTREMELY FERTILE SOIL, LEFT OVER FROM AN ANCIENT GLACIAL LAKE BOTTOM AND AUGMENTED BY DECADES OF PAST FLOODING OF THE WALLKILL RIVER.

THE STRUCTURE THAT HOUSES THE BREWERY AND TAPROOM IS A 100 YEAR OLD REFURBISHED ADMINISTRATION BUILDING THAT ONCE BELONGED TO A REFORM SCHOOL FOR BOYS - A PASSION PROJECT OF ELEANOR ROOSEVELT - THAT SITS INSIDE A 700 ACRE PARK. THE PROPERTY IS A TRUE DESTINATION, NESTLED ALONGSIDE THE WAWAYANDA CREEK AND WITH EXPANSIVE VIEWS OF THE APPALACHIAN MOUNTAINS. IT WILL BE A RETREAT, APPEALING TO BOTH THE CRAFT BEER AFICIONADO AND THE CASUAL WEEKEND EXPLORER.

Run The Terra

"Get ready to conquer the Terra with our thrilling 5km run! Join us on Saturday, April 13th, for an exhilarating event that promises adventure and excitement. With a $30 entry fee, participants not only gain access to the race but also receive a commemorative t-shirt to remember the experience. The action begins at 11 am sharp, and as you cross the finish line, celebrate your victory with a refreshing beer waiting for you. Don't miss out on this ultimate test of endurance and fun!"
